1950-2020
The death of Brian James Steeves of Juniper, NB occurred on Thursday,
August 13, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Saint John, NB. Brian was
born February 14, 1950 in Bath, NB and was the son of the late Austin
and Mary (Morris) Steeves. He was also predeceased by 1 brother, Peter
Steeves, his sister in law, Solange Steeves and nephew Michael
Steeves.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Karen; 4 children Stephanie
Steeves (Ted Beach), Candace Currie (Rick), Michael Steeves and Thomas
Steeves (Gina Filloramo); 3 grandchildren, Scott, Suzie and Kate
Beach; 4 siblings, David Steeves (Sandra), Robin Steeves (MaryLee),
Dean Steeves (Janet) and Kathy Steeves (Paul Buck, best friend) as
well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Brian loved and played all sports and when he wasn’t playing he
was coaching. He will be most remembered as a great softball pitcher,
an avid golfer and for his obsession with billiards.
Brian was well respected for his dependability and strong work ethic.
His unique sense of humour was well known by all and it touched many
lives. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
A private graveside service will be held in the Biggar Ridge Cemetery
on Saturday, August 22, 2020 for close family members only. It would
be greatly appreciated if anyone who wishes to make a donation in
Brian’s name, that it be made to the St. Joseph’s
Foundation with it directed to the CAM unit. Donations can be made
