Carolyn Anne Lombard
1944-2020
Carolyn Anne Lombard – age 75, of Toronto and Medford, Kings
County, passed away on January 13, 2020 in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late
Charles and Mary (Mannion) Lombard. Carolyn was a personal caregiver
in Toronto and Rosedale. She enjoyed travelling and was an
accomplished tennis player. She was a member of the Lady of Lordes
Roman Catholic Church, Toronto. She is survived by siblings, Sean,
Medford; Claire (Greg) Bishop, Greenwich and Maureen (Andre) Roux,
Johannesburg, South Africa; many nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by sisters, Monica, in infancy, Dorothy, Beth; brothers,
Charles, Kenneth and Colin. Cremation has taken place and there will
be no visitation, by request. A funeral mass and reception
will be held at a later date in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic
Church, Kentville, Father Keith Billard officating. Burial will take
place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. Donations in memory may
be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of
your choice. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff
at the Valley Regional Hospital for their care, kindness and
compassion. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
