Joseph (Joe) Robichaud
1955-2020
Joe Robichaud, of Riverview, passed away on Wednesday July
15th, 2020 with his family by his side. Born in Saint John
he was the son of Arthenise (Amirault) Robichaud and the late Eloi
Robichaud.
He will be dearly missed and
remembered by his wife of 39 years Beth (Fisher) Robichaud, son Tom
(Ashley) of Riverview, daughter Samantha (Andrew) Corkum of Riverview
and his granddaughters, Ari Corkum and Evelyn Robichaud. Joe
will also be remembered by his sisters: Yvonne Robichaud, Janet (Mark)
Lawlor, Mary (Hugh) Miles, Jo-Anne (Maurice) Dupuis, brothers: Allan
(Jackie), Richard (Charlene), John (Lorri), Louis and his many nieces
and nephews, father-in-law Wally Fisher, sister-in-law Janet (Mike)
Farrell, brother-in-law Ross (Ann) Fisher and pre deceased by
mother-in-law Mary Fisher.
Joe worked 18
years as a Mechanical Technologist in Fisheries and Oceans and
National Defense and retired April 15th, 2020 after 25 years of
service at Canada Post. He was a proud members of the Petitcodiac
Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed target shooting with his family, and
spending his summers at the cottage in McKees Mills. He was a
volunteer and group leader for Scouts Canada, an amazing husband and
father, a devoted neighbor and was always there for others.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to
the nurses on floor 4200, the doctors, the Extra-mural nurses and
family and friends who have been a huge support during these difficult
times.
Due to the current COVID-19 epidemic,
there will be no visitation and Joe’s family will be having
a private celebration of his life. Arrangements are entrusted to
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Moncton SPCA or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
