Brent Lawson Elderkin, 60, of Riverside-Albert, NB passed
away on July 3rd, 2020.
Brent was born in Riverside-Albert
on March 20th, 1960, the son of the late Lawson
Dixon and Margaret (Steeves) Elderkin.
In his earlier years, Brent worked as a lifeguard and

we keep in memory is ours
forever. »
He is survived by his children, Shane Gauvin (Karrie) of
Riverside-Albert, Danielle Currie Jonah (Chris) of Hillsborough, and
Brian Currie of Alberta; his sister, Lynn Stevens (Ed Piho) of New
Horton; brother, Blake Elderkin of Hopewell Hill; cousins Susan
Harrison and Tracey Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and
nephews, by his extended family, and
friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his step-father
Douglas Elderkin; sister, Brenda Barnes; niece, Jenny Barnes; cousin,
Steven Smith.
Honouring Brent’s wishes, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in the
Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral
