It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Dubeau announces his sudden passing on Sunday, May 17th, 2020 at the age of 62 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Jack was born on August 12, 1957 to Donald and Dolly Dubeau. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Loraine of 46 years, his children Shauna [Yong Bae] of Sudbury, Jenny [Joel Forseille] of Hinton, Shannon and Don Dubeau of Edmonton, and his beloved pets Nisha and Winston. He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren Alyssa, Austin, Kali, and Kaine; and siblings Elaine of Ontario, John [Christine] of Sudbury, Susan of Latchford, and Larry [Norvie] of Hinton, as well as his many nephews, nieces and relatives.
He was born and raised in Latchford, Ontario and moved to Alberta in the early 80s. He was a town of Hinton operator, then worked in the Hinton Pulp Mill for 20 years. He then went on to become a Postmaster in Biscotasing, Ontario and ran the Sportsman’s Lodge for several years. Eventually he moved back to Edmonton, Alberta and enjoyed a productive career as a Purolator delivery driver until his passing. He was a loving husband and Father. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to canoe, hunt and fish. Jack was very quiet but everyone who took the time to get to know him became a life long friend.
A private viewing was held on, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home in Edmonton, Alberta.
