Memorial Donation
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Predeceased by her husband, Jim; son, Brian; parents, Elmer & Eva Mae (Cole) Johnson and sister June Johnson.
Leaving to mourn her devoted sons David, Billy (Mildred O’ Neill) and Patrick; her cherished grandchildren; Megan Ryan, Michael Ryan, Josh Ryan, Megan (Adam) Walsh, and great-grand child, Lincoln Walsh; her loving siblings , Lynn (Garret Smith) Johnson and Gary (Linda) Johnson.
Shirley extended her love and guidance to Annette (Roger) Power-Temple, Desiree (Chad) Newman, Lucas (Cass Howlett) Power, and darlings Hannah and Jameson Newman who loving know her as Nanny-Shirley.
Shirley brought so much joy to the people in her life with her fun and witty personality. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Shirley leaves behind a large circle of family and friends in the Johnson, Cole and Ryan families from Newfoundland and Ontario.
Cremation has taken place.
Due to the Public Health Advisory of Covid-19 a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
