Obituary of Alice Parsons
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Saturday, May 2, 2020, Alice Parsons (nee Forward) of Harbour Grace, age 79 years.
Predeceased by husband: Alexander ‘Sandy’; parents: John and Lucy Forward; sister: Jean (Ray) Fitzpatrick.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories, three daughters: Diane (Darrell) Parsons, Bay Roberts, Alexandra (Carl), Waterdown, ON, and Kim (Gene), Harbour Grace; three sons: Kenneth (Yvonne) and John (Michelle), both of Harbour Grace, and Wayne (Wanda), Brigus; eleven grandchildren: Christopher (Melanie), Cassandra (Randy), Andrew, Natasha (Wil), Danielle (Todd), Sarah, Brandon (Suzanne), Alicia (Danny), Kersten, Alex (Lacey), and Christopher B.; six great-grandchildren: MacKenzie, Bentley, Finley, Dominic, Megan, and Mark; one brother: James (Lilly) Forward, St. John’s; two sisters: Shirley Evely (George), Carbonear and Elizabeth Forward, Topsail Beach; special family friends: Denise Parsons, Carbonear, Gail and Dave Earle, and their children, Shenstone and Adaleigh, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Due to the current pandemic, visitation will take place at a later date, followed by a funeral service to celebrate Alice’s life at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment to be held in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
