In Loving memory of Elaine O’Quinn
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elaine O’Quinn announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, April 27th, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Dayna and Candice; grandchildren Destiny, Daylan, Dillon and Ethan; sister Marina (Ray) Johnson of Corner Brook; brother Barry (Moira) Wilton of Stephenville; special nephew Robert Decker of Stephenville who provided so much comfort and support to Elaine during her illness; special niece Jessica Russell of Corner Brook, and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Fintan O’Quinn, devoted partner Gerry Connors, father Douglas Wilton of Deer Lake, mother Nora Hewitt of Stephenville, stepfather Garfield Hewitt, sister Selma Decker, brother-in-law Frank Decker; beloved niece Karen Decker.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Hibachi and the staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their care and attention, and also Dr. Brazil and the ICU staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook who worked diligently to make her last hours as comfortable as possible.
