Bessie’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Bessie Winnifred Reid, Critch, nee Wilton announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, April 26th, 2020 at the age of 87 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond, precious, and loving memories her husband; Willis Reid, her children; Norma Simms (Jim), Daniel Critch (Edith), Roxanne Decker (John), her grandchildren; Kelly (Steve), Krista, Brian (Juanita), Bob (Caitlin), Johnna, and Conrad (Jenna), her great grandchildren; Liam, Max, Sam, and Audrey, her step children; Harry Reid (Mary), Judy Freake (Neil), Elaine Coish (Lloyd), Tony Reid (Joy), Wayne Reid (Millicent), Paulette Lambert (Barry), Colleen Tilley (Reg), Craig Reid (Brenda), Rhonda Janes (Terry), and Kirk Reid (Jeanette), her 25 step grandchildren, 32 step great grandchildren, and 2 step great great grandchildren, her brother Bob Wilton (Jane), sister-in-law; Cora Wilton, and special friend; Amanda Tulk. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Bessie was predeceased by her first husband; George (Hop) Critch in 1981, her parents; Mary Ann and Norman Wilton, her infant sons; Norman Critch, and Christopher Critch, her 2 sisters, and 6 brothers,
In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service to celebrate Bessie’s life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Bessie’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
