Obituary of Frances Doyle-Aylward
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Kathleen Doyle-Aylward, of Hay River, NT following a valiant 2-year struggle with cancer. Frances passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday afternoon, April 8th, 2020, at the age of 44 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Adam Aylward for 19 years. Adored mother of Ian and Jacob Aylward, both at home. Cherished daughter of Debbie Doyle (Peg Archibald), of Owen Sound and the late Dennis Doyle (2015) and daughter-in-law of Antoinette Aylward, of Hay River. Loving sister of Patrick Doyle, of Owen Sound, Stuart Doyle (Amanda), of Allenford and sister-in-law of Rebecca Aylward (Kenneth), Treena Corrigal (Kerry) and Jamie Heron, all of Hay River. Dear step-daughter of Joan West-Doyle, of East Linton and the late Brenda Ruffett-Doyle (2010) and step-sister of Lyn Lucas (Alan), Michael Archibald (Janet), Stephen Archibald (Cindy), Susan Fleming (Scott), Brian Ruffett (Kelli), Chad Ruffett (Heather), Jeff West (Carrie) and Andy West (Lydia). Frances will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her best pal, Murphy. Frances was employed since 1998 with the Hay River Health and Social Service Authority starting as a nurse, then department manager (Public Health and Homecare) eventually the Director for Client Care. The families would like to thank the respective communities of Hay River and Owen Sound for their overwhelming support, love and generosity. A Celebration of Life for Frances will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 865 – 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound at a later date and will be announced when the pandemic is over.
