Ontario “Bucky” Basso – December 7, 1924 – December 6, 2019
In loving memory of Ontario “Bucky” Basso, who passed away peacefully one day shy of his 95th birthday.
Loving husband of Kay (predeceased December 18, 1994).
Bucky is survived by his daughter Jane (Robert Mazzuca). Beloved Nono to his four grandchildren, Jordan, Kelsey, Cassandra, Brittany, and his great-grandson Mason Robert.
After retiring from 40 years of service with Inco, Bucky liked to keep active by bowling, golfing, curling, and fishing. Bucky considered himself lucky to have been able to live such a long, healthy and full life.
Dear son of Florindo and Amabile Basso predeceased. Dear brother of Rizzieri “Buck” (Pat) both predeceased, Rino “Moon” (predeceased) wife Mary, and Mary Narduzzi (Mike) both predeceased. Special brother-in-law to Tom and Irene Antonioni (both predeceased). “Uncle Bucky” will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and remembered by several wonderful friends.
