Obituary of Lucy Jane Louise Van Belois
Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, Lucy Jane Louise Van Belois (Branan) of Strathroy passed away days before her 88thbirthday. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius Van Belois (2012). Loving mother of Helen (Fred) Notte, Ron (Rosalind), Bill (Audrey) and Gary (Ursula). Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers George, Richard and Donald, and sisters Helen and Mary. Survived by her sisters-in-law Anna Molnar, Elizabeth Van Belois, Bonnie Van Belois and Frances Ferguson. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Monday December 9, 2019 at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe St W, from 11 AM until the time of service at 12 PM. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society London-Middle or a charity of one’s choice would honour Lucy’s memory. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Nuala Marshall and the staff at Sprucedale Care Centre for their excellent care of Mom in the past seventeen and a half months.
