Obituary of Juanita Carrie Underhill
Juanita passed peacefully on December 4, 2019 in Regina, SK at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her parents Lev and Phyllis Humble; first husband Charles (Chuck) Underhill; brothers Jack, Peter and Levie; and beloved partner Al Pettersen. She is survived by daughter Laurel; grandsons Joshua (Delainey), Noah and Jonah; great-grandchildren Jaedyn, Dalhan and Oliver; sister Sandra (Gary Robinson); and many, many beloved nieces, nephews, great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews; the Pettersen family; and many dear friends. Juanita will be remembered as a loving, loyal, caring and considerate family member and friend. All who knew her felt the impact of her cheeky sense of humour, her strength and her generosity. She was an obsessed ‘Rider fan to her last days and claimed that her most exciting experience was drinking from the Grey Cup with the ‘Rider players in 1966. Much gratitude and appreciation to Kendra, the Palliative Care Coordinator and to the staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their loving care and attention. They were a blessing in her last weeks. At her request, there will be no funeral service. In place of flowers, donations to the Regina Humane Society are welcomed.
