Obituary
The family of Louise Robinson regrets to announce her death at Rocmaura Nursing Home in Saint John, N.B. on December 29, 2019 after a long illness. Louise was born at the family homestead at Cambridge, N.B. on February 12, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Victor and Helen (Chapman) Robinson. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Reginald. She is survived by her sister Robena (Weatherley), one nephew, four nieces and the extended family.
Louise graduated from Fredericton Business College and was initially employed in Fredericton and later in Saint John (J.D. Irving) where she lived for many years. She was a devoted support for her parents in their later years, spending most weekends with them. She loved to cook and garden, which was very helpful to her parents. She cherished the Washademoak countryside and its residents, and visited Cambridge-Narrows frequently until entering Rocmaura, to whom we are very grateful for their compassionate care.
There will be no visiting or ceremony at this time. Interment will be at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Cambridge-Narrows at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
Suggested charities: Church of the Good Shepherd, Cambridge-Narrows; Queen’s County Heritage; or a charity of the donor’s choice.
