With her family at her side, just two days before her 79th birthday, Ernesta Rose Beltrame passed peacefully into the arms of God and her loving husband Louis on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Beloved mother of Elisa Cesa and Laurie and Mark Slinn; Cherished grandmother of Juliana Cesa, Sarah and Lloyd MacDonald, Adam Slinn and his partner Emily Boland, and Emily Slinn. Ernesta held a special place in her heart for her brother Frank Piccin, his wife Elizabeth, and their family.
Visitation will be held at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON, on Monday evening, December 16, 2019, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Roman Catholic Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Rd., Niagara Falls, ON. Cremation has taken place.
In honour of Mom’s warm and hospitable spirit, a reception will be held at the Morse & Son Event Centre, 5929 Main St., after the mass. Ernesta was very supportive of individuals, like her granddaughter, with developmental disabilities. If desired, a memorial donation can be made in her honour to Juliana’s program: Choices Foundation, 178 Carson Drive, Hamilton, Ontario L8T 5A3.
