Passed peacefully away at the Calder Health Care Center, Burgeo, with her family by her side Elizabeth Young of Grey River in her 88th year. Elizabeth was born in Grey River on May 4th, 1931. Leaving to mourn her children: Rosie (Albert), Dorothy (Alvin), Phoebe (George), Blanch (Ephraim), Rodney (Maryann), Alvin (Marie), Daphne (Wayne); a large number of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, brothers: Jacob, Joshua (Sarah), Bill (Phyliss), Calvin (Susie); sister Margaret; sister-in-law Louise Young; daughter-in-law Betty; brother-in-law Claude; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Predeceased by: Husband Arthur; Son Cecil; daughter Gladys; mother and father Jacob and Phoebe Young; sisters Violet and Blanch; brothers Emmanuel and Edgar; sisters-in-law Mary R. Dominey, Beatrice Young; Brothers-in-law Wilfred Young, Fred Dominey, and Ron Lushman.
Special thanks to all the staff at the Calder Health Care Center for their loving care to our mother, sister and aunt.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Homes. Visitation will take place from the Church of Transfiguration on Thursday evening and Friday from where the Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21st at 2 pm , with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment will follow at the Grey River Cemetery.
