Deborah Semashkewich-Fehr
July 12, 1962 – December 6, 2019
It is with deep sadness we announce that Deborah left this world to be with her Lord, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Deborah will be lovingly remembered by her husband David, father Joseph, sisters; Gloria (Bill) Lechky and Ailien (Jerry Derko) Holdis, brothers; Barry (Carol), Bob (Cheryl), and Lewis (Penny), brothers-in-law; John (Shirley), Ben, Peter (Sylvia), Jake (Carmelle), Nick (Lorrie), Henry (Lois), sisters-in-law; Trina (Henry) Unrau, Anne (Cliff) Shalla, Susie, Mary Meilleur, and Betty Darrin) Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and friends.
Deborah was predeceased by her mother Ann, nephew Aaron, parents-in-law; Abram and Anna Fehr, brother and sister-in-law; Abe and Shirley Fehr, grandparents; John and Kate Semashkewich, Louis and Katie Ilnicki.
Although Deborah had no children, auntie Debbie adored her nieces and nephews, treating them like her own and never missing an opportunity to celebrate with them. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.
Deborah was cremated and a Celebration of Life in her honor will be held at 11:00 A.M on Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Hope City Church. 2225 – 66 St., Edmonton, Alberta with Pastor Al Plat officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
