Sammut, Mary (nee Barbara)
It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Sammut on December 16, 2019 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Carmelo Sammut. Loving mother of Tania Dubeau (Andre), Chris Sammut (Ann) and Marcel Sammut (Lynda). Cherished grandma of Nicholas, Jesmond (Samantha), Kaemon Dubeau and Mya and Damon Sammut. Dear sister of Gaeteau Barbara (Mary), Paul Barbara (Beatrice) and Carrie Demick (Richard-predeceased). Mary will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, her bowling league and her friends at the Golden Age and the Empire Living. Predeceased by her parents: Joseph and Rose Barbara (nee Carr) and by her siblings: Doris Muscat (Joe), Sam Barbara (Jackie) and Guza Calljia (Johnny-surviving). Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday December 19,2019 from 12 pm – 2pm. Donations to One Kids Place would be gratefully appreciated by her family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Venne and the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion given to our family during this difficult time.
