Fenna (Fenny) Wierenga, loving wife, mother and Oma, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the age of 82. Fenny was born to Harm and Sarah Flikkema in Groningen, The Netherlands on April 21st, 1937. Beloved wife of Klaas Wierenga for over 60 years and loving mother to Sandy (Jeff) Flynn, Jody (Jason) Beamer and Jackie (John) Correia. Loving Oma of her eight boys, Brandon and Lucas Flynn, Clayton, Owen and Griffin Beamer, and Ethan, Dylan and Nathan Correia. She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters (and in-laws): Greet (+Eppe) Westerhof, Dick (Truusje) Flikkema, Jerry (Stein) Flikkema, Mike (Anne) Flikkema, Geesje (Henk) Velt, Jan (Annie) Flikkema, Bouke (+David) Grachten, Maartje (+Luit) Wierenga, Sini (+Henk) Schreuder, Reina (Reyer) Schuur. She was involved in her church and had many interests, including sewing, cooking for her family and for many others, Mission Circle, and reading. She will be greatly missed by all of us! Visitation took place at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, December 12, 2019, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main Street East, Grimsby, on Friday, December 13, 2019, at 1 p.m. Private interment Grimsby Mountain Cemetery prior to the service.
