The family of the late Melasippe Weskakopayweein of Big River First Nation would like to announce his passing on November 11, 2019, at the age of 93 years old. A wake service will commence on November 12, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service will also be at the Big River First Nation Band Hall on Thursday 14, 2019, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery, Big River First Nation.
