“A Life Lived in Service is Worth Remembering”
Maria Junior, born in Portugal on July 7, 1934 immigrated to Canada in 1957. She integrated into the Canadian culture to dedicate her life to her children, her extended family, and to her community. Maria now Joins her husband Antonio Junior, sons Tony and Danny Junior in our eternal Heaven. She leaves behind her beloved son Nelson Junior, Daughter Mira Junior and her grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Meghan, and Christopher and great granddaughter Maya. Maria will be remembered for her love of humanity, her dedication to people in need and to ensuring that all around her understood that we are obligated to love, care, share and support daily in any way we can. No act of kindness is ever too small and she will always be remembered by many for the way she touched people’s lives. Her children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews will forever be grateful for having Maria in their lives. Her family can look to her spirit in good times and in bad times and know that she will be watching over them. Rest in peace and always remember that you will always be loved and cherished. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. and on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Michael’s Church, 29 Elliott Street, Leamington from 9 am. until time of Mass of the Resurrection at 10 am. Interment at Evergreen memorial Park Cemetery to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (Holy Cross Conference), 10 Elm St., London, ON N5Z 2K2 would be appreciated.
