The family of Marguerite “Peggy” Gray, of Robertville announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a long illness. Marguerite was 73 years old.
Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eveline (Landry) Frenette.
Marguerite will be sadly missed by her children: Donna Gray (Duane Forrester) of Camarillo, California, Stanley Gray of Alliston, Ontario and Steven Gray of Labrador.
She is also survived by her five sisters, Patsy Godin (Rhéal) of Beresford, Rose Haché (Claude) of Bathurst, Carmelle Guitard (Rhéal Duguay) of Allardville, Jeannine Lemarec of Moncton and Lorraine Chamberlain (Yvon) of Bathurst.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Cecile and Anne Marie.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Peggy may be made to the Bathurst SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com). The family would like to express a very special thank you to the staff at Villa Sormany and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Also to all those who took the time to visit her over the last few years at the Villa Sormany in Robertville.
