Obituary of Lowell « Pete » McClelland
McCLELLAND, Gordon Harvey Lowell “Pete” – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his loving daughter at his side, on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 93 years.
Pete McClelland of Beachburg, dearly loved husband of the late Doris “Dot” McClelland (nee Burgess). Dear father of Maureen Matthews (Don), Westmeath; and the late Larry McClelland (Carolyn), Beachburg. Cherished grandfather of Jamie McClelland (Shannon), Sean McClelland (Melanie), Megan Matthews, Melanie Matthews (Byron Tripard), Monica McGinnis (Jeremy) & Marty Matthews; as well as 15 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Stephen & Sadie McClelland (nee McGonegal); and predeceased by sisters Zeta Fisher & Gloria Coons; and brothers Veldon, Daryl & Guy McClelland. Also survived by sister-in-law Norma Pettigrew; and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially by niece Penny Farnel (Bruce).
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 6 to 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m., with Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.
