Obituary of Helen Caroline Firth
In her 96th year, Helen Caroline Firth (nee Reinhart) of London, Ontario died peacefully surrounded by family at Earls Court Village on Monday, November 25, 2019. Dearly loved wife of 66 years to the late Herbert Charles Firth (2010). Beloved mother of Donald (Melanie), James (Susan), David (Barb), Michael (Lina), Terry, and Nancy Brock (George). Beloved grandmother of 20 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Raymond (2010), her parents Walter and Anna Reinhart, her siblings Cyril (Andre) Reinhart, Lawrence Reinhart, Gerald Reinhart and Bernice (Gerald) Hoff. Helen is survived by her sister-in-law Isobel Reinhart of B.C. and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses on both the 9th and 6th floors at University Hospital for their kindness and compassion and also the staff at Earls Court Village who provided exceptional care.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 6-8 o’clock and Friday from 10 o’clock until the time of the funeral service at 11 o’clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. In memory of her husband, Herbert Charles Firth, donations to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada, 145 Front Street East, Suite 306, Toronto, M5A 1E3 would be appreciated.
