Helen was an awesome mom, mother-in-law, Gammy and Gramma. She was a homemaker turned businesswoman back in the 80s when she opened Artisique draperies in Regina. The drapery shop was a welcome gathering place for friends and family. She always had a pot of coffee on and was always open for a visit. Many of her customers became her closest of friends.
Helen was an undeniable force. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her laughter could be heard for miles and how she could light up a room. Her love for her family was like no other. She loved to have a full house, cook a beautiful meal for friends or when the family gathered together. Her amazing sense of humor was with her to the end.
A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff at the Misericordia Hospital and Foyer Lacombe Hospice for their care, kindness and compassion.
