Carol Elizabeth Tibbitts began her journey on February
18, 1945 as the first child of the late Harold and Kathleen Tibbits in
the small community of Victoria Corner. Her love of travel began at an
early age and saw her moving to Toronto, Ontario, Augusta Maine and
Hollywood, California before she made Fredericton her lifelong home.
Besides her family and amazing circle of friends, her passion was
travelling the world. Over the years she had many adventures in
various countries and continents. There were many more places she had
hoped to visit but sadly ran out of time. She was a true fashionista
and the last words she heard were compliments on her shoes and
glasses.
Left to mourn her passing, which occurred November 28,
2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, are her sister Norma
(Victor) Hamilton of St. Stephen and her brother Stephen (Karyn)
Tibbitts of Rothesay, 8 nieces and nephews as well as several great
nieces /nephews and a close circle of friends. Carol was predeceased
by brothers Eugene and Kenneth and nephew Shawn. To honor her wishes
there will be no visitation or service. For those that wish to honor
her in some way a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, Literacy
New Brunswick, or a charity of one’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
