Obituary of Beverly Thomas Robinson
With heavy hearts, the family of Bev Robinson announces his sudden passing at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Monday, November 25th, 2019 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Marnie (nee Aitken) for 50 years. Loving father of Christopher and wife, Tammy (nee Burns) and Libby Malott and husband, Shawn. Proud grandpa of Natalie, Alyssa, Evan and Andrew for whom he would do anything at the drop of a hat. Brother of Rick and wife, Bonnie and Mark and wife, Carol. Forever remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sherrie and Reade Spence, George and Lena Aitken, Pat and Bruce Parkes and Duncan Aitken. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
For many years Bev was a counselor and supervisor for Human Resources Development Canada in Chatham. Following his retirement he spent many enjoyable hours in his shop creating Shaker boxes, furniture, birdhouses and memories with his grandchildren. He loved his daily « roundtable discussions » at Tim Hortons. The family will miss his unwavering encouragement, support and words of wisdom.
Friends and family will be received at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown, on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 from 6 to 9pm and again on Friday morning at Emmanuel Congregational Church, 92 Erie Street North, Ridgetown, from 10am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
Donations in Bev’s memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
