Michael Edward Fitzsimmons of Seaforth, passed away at London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Hospital, on Friday, September 6, 2019. Mike was 73 years old. Mike’s appreciation for life was enhanced through his association with A.A. celebrating 26 years of sobriety. In later years, Mike always enjoyed a drive through the countryside, appreciating the sights and scenery. Enjoying dinner out was always a good way to end a days journey.
Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife Heather, his sons David Fitzsimmons and Matthew (Kristin) Fitzsimmons, his step son Robert Brodhagen and his grandchildren. Mike is predeceased by his parents John and Anne (née Drudy) Fitzsimmons and step son David Brodhagen.
Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Respecting Mike’s wishes cremation has taken place. A service to honour Mike’s life and find comfort in our faith, will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Bible Missionary Church, 35 Toronto Boulevard, Vanastra, commencing at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Clinton Legion, Branch 140, 95 Kirk Street, Clinton.
