Michael Albert Connor
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mike, after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 65 years of age. He was surrounded by his loving family at home.
Beloved husband and best friend for 41 years to Diane (nee Verhaeghe). Cherished father of David (Jennifer), Dan (Paul Ferrante), and Kelly (Len Wilson). Adored grandpa of Mason and Kennedy. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Lou Connor, and in-laws Morris and Mary Verhaeghe. Loving brother of Edward (Connie), and Mary Lou Dennison (Mark). Dear brother-in-law of Sylvia Macvoy (Allen). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mike worked alongside his family for over 50 years at Connor Printing. He was Past Grand Knight of K. of C. Council 2775 and a member of the Belle River Legion Branch 399. Mike was an avid golfer and enjoyed being surrounded by people. He was proud to have designed and built his dream house on the lake.

Visitation on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. with K of C prayers at 7:30 p.m. and Monday, October 28, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Simon and St. Jude Church (488 St. Charles St.) for visitation at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Interment St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery.
