SNAPE, Joan Eileen – Of Trenton, Joan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Crown Ridge Place on Friday, October 18th, 2019 at the age of 94. Born in London England, to parents Percival and Mary Boud. Joan came to Canada as an English War Bride in 1946. Pre-deceased by her husband Jack Snape (1999). Dear mother to Vivienne Fellows (Brian), Roger Snape, James “Jim” Snape (Yunyi Wu), and June Colasante (John). She is pre-deceased by her siblings Bert, Ronnie, Stan and Connie. Joan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Gregory (Carol Ann), Angela (Joe), Jamie (Amanda), Trevor (Melissa), Julie (Jordan), Kristy, Tyler (Shelley) and 12 great-grandchildren. She was president of the resident council at Crown Ridge (until her passing) and an avid Bingo player. She will be missed by her many friends and extended family. In keeping with Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family graveside service will be held at White’s Cemetery.
