Peacefully at home, in his 85th year on October 20, 2019. Loving husband of the late Helen Haffey and long time partner of the late Myrna Rossi. Dear father to daughters Terri, Karen, Kelly and son Darryl. Beloved stepfather of Toni, Sherry, Lonnie, Melodie and Daryl. Grandpa Jimmy will be missed by his many grand and great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Dot, Linda and brother-in-law Kerry and nieces Elizabeth, Becky, Cindy, Debbie, Brenda, Christine and nephews Christopher and Mike. Loving son of the late Alice and Clifford Hodgson. Predeceased by sons Guy, and Dean, brother Jack and sister Peggy. Jim retired from Hussmann’s in Brantford, was a proud member of the CAW and supporter of the Dunsdon Legion. He was also a long time volunteer of Grand River Trails. A lifelong fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. Jim enjoyed nature trails, Brule Lake Lodge, traveling across Canada and especially family reunions. Friends will be received at TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, ON on Friday November 1st, 2019 from 7pm-9pm, and on Saturday from 1pm-2pm.
