Fern Helen Fitzpatrick, beloved wife of the late John Fitzpatrick passed away peacefully after a short illness at Porteous Lodge, Saskatoon, SK on Wednesday, September 26th, 2019.
She was born in Naicam, SK on July 21, 1926 to Chester and Aagot Carson. She was predeceased by her husband John, sons Lyle and Larry, granddaughter Regan Fehr, much loved niece, Geraldine Lukowski, mother and father and sister Dorothy Krantz.
She was a great mother that taught her sons to renovate and be handy around the house. She very much missed the long talks she used to have with her mother. She loved to draw and create birds in clay. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Through the years she was a waitress, practical nurse, Avon salesperson, devoted caregiver for her youngest son Larry and was devoted to her faith. She was a good home maker and cook (chocolate cake and macaroni/tomatoes).
Her hope in the resurrection to a paradise earth was as strong as Martha’s when she said to Jesus she would see her brother Lazarus living on the last day. She believed that this was « just around the corner ». Anyone who wants to understand this hope can speak to Lloyd or go to JW.org.

She is survived by her son Lloyd (Pauline), daughter in law Caroline (Lyle deceased), sister Jean Wood, brother David and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
