Aaron Ross died peacefully on September 30, 2019.
Aaron was born on February 29, 1992 in Winnipeg, Manitoba after a difficult birth which caused complications that he fought with dignity his whole life. Aaron was a member of the Bloodvein First Nation and was proud of his heritage. Aaron is survived by his Mom, Shirley Ross; his Dad, Ronald M. Ross; his brothers, Ronnie, Randy, and Rodney; his sisters, Severina, Sue Anne, Angel, and Veronica. He loved to roughhouse with his nieces and nephews, Desiree, Marissa, Brenden, Bella, Bryson, Baily, Jacob, and Felicity. Aaron’s fiancée, Shannon, passed on February 27, 2018 as they were preparing for their wedding.
Aaron was loved by his family and he loved his family very much. He had struggled with learning but taught himself to read and enjoyed reading history, recently he was reading about the War of the Roses and the Plantagenet rulers of England. He loved long walks and if he came across someone who was down and out, he would invite them home, provide a bath and food and share his love of reading the Bible with them. Aaron was studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and would share Bibles with family and friends. On his last walk, Aaron took three Bibles to share, one with his father and two with friends in Osborne Village. Unfortunately, he never got back to the safety of his home, but he had the hope of living in the promised paradise and shared his hope with others when he could. (Luke 23:43)
Service will be held on Saturday October 12,2019 3pm at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. (at McPhillips St.)
