Rosaleigh “Rosa” Kirby
1927-2019
Ms. Rosa Kirby of Peers, AB, passed away in Edmonton, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 91 years.
Rosa was born in El Centro, California on November 5, 1927.
Rosa is survived by her son Garey Kirby of Wetaskiwin, AB; and his children Keith Kirby (Josée) and children Jacob, Michaela, Samantha of Edmonton, AB; Tricia Kirby (Corey) and their children Austin of Wetaskiwin, AB, Kristie Kirby (Kyle) of Cold Lake, AB; and Maria Kirby and her children Alyssa Radcliffe; her children Ivy of Edmonton, Tammie Thompson (Peter) of Edmonton; his children Alexander (Zoe), Miranda (Mitch), Joshua (Emma), Andrew (Emma) all of Edmonton, Brandon (Courtney) of Burnaby; grandchildren Ava and Madelyn of Burnaby BC, Justin Kirby (Debbie) of Edmonton and children Renae (Tyrone), Gregory, Chloe (Kre-den), Ashton, Serenity, Kovannon; grandchildren Cassius and Zeriah, Kyree and Jeriyah
Rosa was predeceased by her 3 children Keith, Allen and Rosamarie in 1955; her parents John and Geneva Kellner in 1975 and 1997; her husband of 69 years Eddy Kirby in 2005; her great-grandson Bradley Kirby in 2007; and her grandson Dale Kirby in 2011.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Peers Community Center. Interment to follow in the McLeod Valley Cemetery.
