Obituary of Robert Bradshaw
Robert Firman Kitchener Bradshaw of Tillsonburg Ontario passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 11th at 12:23am at his new home the St. Charles Retirement Tower in Welland, Ontario. Born December 26th 1939 in Toronto Ontario Bob is predeceased by the love of his life, Margaret Bradshaw (nee Henderson 2010). We can find peace knowing that they can now dance together again in heaven. Bob is also predeceased by his parents Garnet and May Bradshaw, brothers Clayton, Garnet and Harold. Bob is survived by his loving daughters Joanne Orr (Jeff) and Wendy Chevrette (Richard) and the joys of his of his life his grandchildren; Paige, Anthony, Noah and Autum as well as his brother Thomas Bradshaw sister Dorothy Marshall along with several nieces and nephews. Bob and Marg enjoyed spending winters in Florida at Maple Leaf estates for several years allowing Bob to continue playing golf throughout the years awhile showcasing his crazy swing! After retiring from Bell Canada where he worked as Automotive Fleet Supervisor he starting his own company as a Quality Assurance specialist traveling to various companies across Ontario. It was during his travels he got acquainted with the quaint town of Tillsonburg where he moved in 1997 and found many wonderful friends. The family would like to give our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at the Tillsonburg hospital as well as the kind staff at St. Charles retirement home. These loving care givers have help our family through this very difficult time. Bob will be interned at St. John’s Norway Cemetery in a private family ceremony at a later date. Condolences can be made at Davidson Funeral Home in Port Colborne and donations on behalf of Bob can be made to your local Terry Fox Organization.
