Passed away at the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Sunday September 22, 2019 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Ace. Loving father of Eric Ace (Carolyn) of Elliot Lake, Garnet Ace (Kelly) of Ancaster, ON & step-father of Carol Freyer (Mike Newell) of Lavigne, ON, the late Pam Galama (Stan) of Brockville, ON & the late Earl Halladay (Angie) of Cardinal, ON. Loving grandfather of Kyle, Hope, Brianna, Nolan & great grandfather of Sydney & Bella. Predeceased by his brother Harold Ace (late Beatrice) & sister Barbara Walker. Will be sadly missed by numerous nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave) on Friday September 27, 2019 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Deacon Joseph O’Neil officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
