BENSON, Moira – It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Moira, at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019. Moira Benson of Trenton was 62. Daughter of the late Robert and Hannah Whitelaw. Beloved husband to Gregory Benson. Dear mother to Jeff Gareau (Sheri) of Belleville and Joel Gareau (Tammy) of Foxboro. Survived by siblings Jean Kay (Ray), and Esther Legere (Rick). Pre-deceased by siblings Bertha Whitelaw, George Whitelaw and Irene Neill. Moira will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Owen, Xzavier, Karmyne, Paige and Wyatte. She had a passion for Bingo. In keeping with her wishes’ cremation has taken place. The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Mohawk Pentecostal Church, (1984 York Rd., Tyendinaga). Refreshments to follow.
