Mrs. Mary Powers
At Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday September 6th, 2019, Mrs. Mary Powers of Wabash in her 87th year. Cherished daughter of the late George and Mary Polowick. Beloved wife of the late Allan Powers and the late Constant Van Ruymbeke. Loving mother of Mark Van Ruymbeke of Kent Bridge, Susan Salenbien and her husband Dave of Wallaceburg, Sandra Van Ruymbeke of Toronto, Connie Van Ruymbeke of B.C., and Carol Homer and her husband Brian of B.C., and loving step mother of Diane Logan and her husband Gary of Wabash, the late Donna Fehr (and her husband Steve) of B.C., and Sandra Holmes and her husband Mike of Wabash. She will be loving remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Vera Cook, and Victoria Bown, and brothers John, Alex, Mike, and Fred (Rose) Polowick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Helen Kiekens, Doris Vasylev, Katie Halaska, Alice Duck, and Annie Atkinson, and brother Bill. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West Chatham, 519 352- 2710 on Wednesday September 11th with visiting from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday September 12th at 11 am. Interment Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of C-K, and Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
