ROLA, Maria Ricarte “Crisanta”
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Rola, so affectionately known as Crisanta, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on September 14, 2019 at the age of 72 years, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife of Manuel Rola. Loving mother of Paula Ferreira (Patrick), Susana Ferreira (Rui Mario) and Jessica DeVuono (Carlo). Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Matthew, Abigail and Sebastian. Predeceased by her parents Manuel and Laurentina Ricarte. Maria is survived by her sister Ester Ricarte Lopes, and brothers Manuel dos Santos Ricarte and Armando dos Santos Ricarte. Deeply missed by nieces Lucia Portugues, Grace Marques, Madalena Portugues and niece Maria Carvalho. The family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Wednesday September 18, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Thursday September 19th, 2019 at 10 am. Interment to follow to Holy Cross Cemetery.
