It with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our wonderful
husband, father and grandfather, Lloyd Hull, who passed away
peacefully, at home, on September 4th, 2019, at the age of 80,
surrounded by those who loved him.
Stanley Lloyd Hull was born on July 7th, 1939 in
Bluff Head Cove, Twillingate, to Arthur and Daisy (Hillier) Hull.
Lloyd loved growing up in Bluff Head Cove, where there was no shortage
of cousins, aunts and uncles.
Lloyd married Maxine Elliott of Crow Head on
March 16th, 1960 and together they raised two children, Kathy and
Keith, in Lloyd’s childhood home on Hull’s
Lane.
Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Daisy
Hull; in-laws Claude and Pearl Elliott; brother Harvey (Helen);
brother-in-law Max (Shirley) Elliott; sisters-in-law: Annie (Martin)
Legge and Dollie (Victor) Pippy.
He leaves with fond and loving memories: his wife Maxine;
daughter Kathy (Steve) Clarke; son Keith (Janet); grandchildren:
Allison (Craig) Wells, Adrienne (Kevin) Greenham, Katie (Matt)
Macdonald, Andrew (Amanda) and Ryan (JC); great-grandchildren: Penny,
Jade and Kate, Logan and Ella, Dylan, Liam, Caleb, Saulomen and
Olivia, along with a large circle of family and friends.
Lloyd will be remembered for all the stories he loved to tell,
especially stories of « years ago » and will be greatly missed
by all those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the
Isles funeral home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take
place from the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship Church on Tuesday
September 10, 2019 at 2pm., with Pastor Jesse Knight
officiating. Donations in honor of Lloyd may be given to the
Full Gospel Christian Fellowship Cemetery Fund.
