Kenneth Glen Dawe
November 21, 1962 – September 15, 2019
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre Complex on Sunday, September 15, 2019, Ken Dawe of Blaketown at the young age of 56 years after a lengthy, but courageous battle with cancer. Ken fought a hard battle with cancer at home where he wanted to be with his wife Patsy right up until the day he passed.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Dawe; and sister, Wavey Piercey.
Leaving to mourn and to celebrate his life are his loving wife of 24 years, Patsy; son, Sterling; granddaughter, Zoe; sister, Michelle (David); brother, Craig (Crystal); nieces, Rianna, Rachael, and Tamera; nephews, Timothy, Ryan, and Zackary; great-nephew, Tai; brother-in-law, Richard; also lovingly remembered by a number of other relatives and many friends.
Ken fought his battle high-spirited and brave, always being upbeat and having an amazing attitude.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of those who helped Ken and Patsy on a daily basis; from cutting wood, helping him get to his appointments, and regular visits.
Cremation has taken place.
Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Friday, September 20, 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
A service of celebration for Ken’s life will take place on Saturday, September 21 at 2:00 pm from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with inurnment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blaketown.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ken’s memory may be made to the Kenneth Dawe Memorial Fund
