Kathleen Clarke

Kathleen “Kay” Margaret Clarke (nee: Lawson) of Grand Bend, ON passed away peacefully in her 71st year at the Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Her husband Elliott Wayne Clarke predeceased her in October 2011. Kay and Elliott are now happily reunited in Heaven.
Mom will be dearly missed but shall live on in the hearts of her son Wayne Clarke of Vietnam, son Brian Clarke and wife Dawn of Winnipeg, MB, and daughter Cathy Memah and husband Decky of Toronto, ON. She will be forever cherished in the treasured memories of her 7 grandchildren (Timothy, Shekinah,
Daniel, Grace, Abby, James, and Aidan).
She is survived by her brother Allen Lawson and Pat, sister Gwen Rohde and James, and brother Edwin Lawson and Francis. She is also survived by her two sisters‐in‐law Betty Oldacre and Ruth Clarke. Numerous nieces and nephews are also left with fond thoughts of their aunt.
Kay grew up in Woodham, ON and was the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret Lawson and daughter‐in‐law of the late Melvin and Eva Clarke. She is also predeceased by her brothers‐in‐law Ernest Clarke and Ken Oldacre and her sister‐in‐law Mae Watterworth.
Kay was active in her community and at Huron Shores United Church. She exemplified a life full of selflessness and generosity.
According to Kay’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has already taken
place.
