1931 – 2019
Jacquie passed away peacefully at home in Medicine Hat on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the age of 88 years. Mom was born on January 25, 1931 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and moved many times over the years before settling in Medicine Hat. She is survived by her loving daughter, Loni (Jimmy) O’Hearne; daughters-in-law, Ann and Jan; son-in-law, Laurie; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Jean) Stone; sister, Sharon (Mel) Wells; brother-in-law, Ron Richardson; sister-in-law, Dale Richardson as well as two special sisters, Cathy and Betty. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray; son, Terry; daughter, Tracy and son, Derik. A Celebration of Jacquie’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. Those wishing to remember Jacquie may do so through a donation to the charity of their choice.
The Celebration of Jacqueline’s life will be live streamed through Cook Southland’s website.
