Obituary of Glen Lewis Hillgartner
HILLGARTNER, Glen Lewis
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Glen at home on September 4th, 2019 in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth, nee Bodajla (November 21, 2018). Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Mary Hillgartner. Cherished father of Beth (Nick), Allysun, Krystine and proud grandfather to his nine day old granddaughter Sofia. Loving brother of Ellen, Stephen, Gordon, Gail (the late Cliff) and Kathy (Mark). Loving uncle of Rachel (Craig), Christy (Kyle), Jeff and four great-nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his best friend Bruce (Mary). Glen was an avid car collector and enthusiast and handyman extraordinaire! Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Glen and Elizabeth will be interred together at Binbrook United Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
