Dora Lee Descoteaux
Dora Lee Descoteaux, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Fort St. John, BC, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 55 years.
Dora was born in Dawson Creek, BC on July 16, 1963. She was raised and went to school in Fort St. John.
Dora loved to spend time with friends and family, joking and teasing, listening to music, wearing her leather, and hanging out with friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping, riding her Harley, gardening, decorating her house, baking, and socializing. She had a grand-dog named Steele. She loved her sticky notes to tell people what to do. Dora would crochet the most beautiful afghans and give them to family members and friends.
Dora will be sadly missed by her mother Dorothy, step-father Bullet, daughter Misty, Son Lynden, brother Duane, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-dog Steele (who will miss his grandma), as well as many friends.
She was predeceased by her sister Sabrina, grandmother, grandfather, and cousins.
A Private Viewing was held
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 2:00pm to 2:00am at Five Mile Hall (714003 Range Rd. 53, Grande Prairie)
Directions to Hall: Travel east on 100th Ave. to 92 Street. Continue east on 100th Ave. approximately 5.5 km to RR 53. Turn left 100 yards and then right into the Five Mile Hall parking lot.
