In loving memory of Donna Douds, 72 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Brampton Civic Hospital on August 30, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Soulmate and wife of Keith for 48 years. Beloved mother of Shannon (Patrick) Ritchie and Lyndsey (Michael) McNally. Cherished grandmother of Ethan, Calum, Kieran, Payton, Declan and Brynley. Caring sister of Ron Woolley and Nancy Coutlee. Devoted best friend of Christine Geautreau .
Donna was devoted to her family and especially her six grandchildren for whom she was their biggest fan.
Donna will be remembered for her ability to make everyone she encountered feel special and loved.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff at the Brampton Civic Hospital’s Oncology department for their kindness and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. Malgorzata Balcewicz and RNP Shannon Farley for their extraordinary dedication to Donna’s care.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday September 12, 2019, at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, Brampton, from 4-6 pm. Memorial service to follow in the Chapel at 6 pm.
