Chee was born in Guangdong China on October 3, 1940 to father Song Shao Lun and mother Shao Fen Wu. He was the youngest of four siblings. He graduated from University in China and worked as an architect there. Married to Fu Yan Lun (born Leung) on Jan. 1, 1972.
He leaves behind his wife and one son, Wayne Lun and daughter in law Qiong Pei, and two grandchildren, Audrey and Nathan, along with many nephews and nieces.
He enjoyed growing many types of fruits in his garden and always tried to stay healthy by exercising and eating right. He also loved to read. He will be greatly missed by his family.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC, on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM with the Rt. Rev. Dr. Charles Wm. Dorrington, officiating. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Following the services, a Dinner Reception will be held at the Jade Fountain Restaurant inside the Red Lion Inn, 3366 Douglas Street, Victoria, BC. All are welcome to attend.
