Life Legacy
TRASMUNDI, Carlo – Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Ida (nee Mucci) (2009) and cherished father of Frank (Lucy), Tom (Karen), Fred (Monica) and Lino. Loving grandfather of Frank, Carl (Lisa), Justin and Vanessa and great-grandfather of Frank, Gabrielle, Carli and Bianca. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Mary Iammarino and Regina (Mike) Demizio, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Flaviano and Angela (nee Palotta) and his brothers Emilio, Luigi, Vincenzo, Michele and Toni. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers for their kindness, compassion and daily loving care shown to our dad at home and during his time at Valley Park Lodge. Special thank you to Dr. Girard, Dr. Tannous, Dr. Hill, Dr. Harpur and Dr. Cuthbert. Our Dad leaves behind a legacy of love for family and friends. He was passionate about his grandchildren, gardening, the Toronto Maple Leafs and sitting under the tree with glass of wine. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 1 pm at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, where he will be reunited with his beloved wife. In memory of Mr. Trasmundi, contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre) or Our Lady of the Scapular Church, and would be appreciated.
