CAMPBELL, Jean Edward
January 4, 1941 – August 13, 2019
Jean Campbell of Edmonton, AB, formerly of Westlock, AB, passed away peacefully at the Royal Alexander Hospital at the age of 79 years. He is survived by Annie Campbell of Westlock; son Walter (Sarah) of Denver, CO, USA; siblings, Allan (Arlene) Campbell of Edmonton, AB, Don (Bev) Campbell of Westlock, AB, and Curtis (Anne) Campbell of Sherwood Park, AB. Jean is also remembered by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Pre-deceased by his grandmother Eva Campbell and grandfather Jack Campbell; parents Hector and Laurena (Murray) Campbell; brother Roy and Mae Campbell; son Jack and daughter Elaine Longland of Sayward, B.C. He completed high school in Clyde and Westlock and became a successful cattle and grain farmer and businessman in the Clyde area until his retirement. He loved Hereford and limousine cattle. He loved to pick mushrooms. He engaged in curling sports, was a vivacious reader, an avid world traveler, and enjoyed movies. He was friendly, generous, deeply loved, outgoing, curious, strong, and enjoyed a full life. He also loved clocks and watches, a good time, antique cars and kids. A Memorial Service will be held for Jean and Bonnie, Sunday, September 15, 2019, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at St. Albert Inn & Suites, 156 St. Albert Trail, St. Albert.
