It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of George, surrounded by family, at Juravinski Hospital on Sunday September 1st at the age of 78. George will be dearly missed by his children Karen (Bruno Ciprietti), Randy, Marlene (Michael Manzi), Monica (Ryan Deming), and Grandson Luke.
George was born April 14, 1941 to Peter and Annie (nee Hysuick). As a young boy George moved from Saskatchewan to Waterford, ON and later Hamilton, ON. George was predeceased by his wife Pauline, his parents, Peter and Annie, his sisters Rose, Helen, Lola and Jenny, his brother Mike, and his brother-in-law Nick. Left to cherish the memory of George are his brothers and sisters, Peter (Gay), Margie (George), Danny (Ursula), Annie, Nick, Bill (Debbie), Steve (Nancy), Paul (Dusty), Jim (Brenda) and Maryann (Bernie).
We welcome family and friends to BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Thursday September 5th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday September 6th at 1pm at BAY GARDENS CHAPEL. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, 260 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON.
